Update

Here is a very short version of what has happend since may. Kay is at MATC for their LPN program and hopefully Weber will turn that into an RN program and she will only have to go to MATC for the RN.
I am just still hacking away at school and have all except for 1 general credits done. I probably still have till the end of 2013 to finish it all up with work full time and school part time.
I am having fun putting together the network, security, phone, and intercom system into my boss's home. I have done everything from pulling wire, terminating to configuring an enterprise managed switch. It has been a great learning experience for me.
Kay and I are ready for christmas. A hint for her gifts are lots of walking. A hint for my gift is lots and lots of AA batteries.

have a great Christmas!

Kayla has applied to the Nursing program! finally!!

well good news! Kayla is at a crossroads in her life and has just applied to go to the nursing program! she will also be applying to other schools very soon. This is very exciting to her and I and has been a great accomplishment in her behalf. Now we get to wait for a month and sit and twiddle our thumbs in hopes that she gets in!

I am currently working on some computer certifications. I am currently working on MCITP: Server aAdministrator. it works with windows servers, users and domains. It will also give me a good basis on how a web server works. around September I will be working on some designs for webpages in PHP that I can display as examples to companies and maybe start designing for them also. You wouldn't believe how many people have asked me to make a web page for them.... It's time I learn!

We have been coming up with projects we want to do and one of them is the boat. We call it Project: Boat. We are in the middle of reupholstering it. It has been a fun experience! We ended up taking out the fold down seats, the sidings with Vinyl on them, and breaking lots of parts accidently. After we took off the folding down seats we realized how horrible the wood was so we ended up scraping the wood and buying some other wood to replace it! we are drawing out the patterns to cut out from the two large half inch plywood that we baught yesterday. We then will put it all together with new hinges and supports and it should turn out a lot better. We kept the same cusions as the old seats cause that stuff is just a little to far out of budget. Then its off to cut out the patterns of the upholstery that we very carefully unstiched and it left a pattern for us to fallow. We haven't baught any fabric yet so the colors we arn't for sure yet. I have found some cheap places online to buy this stuff so that is a plus. Taring apart the boat we have realized how dirty it really is. So not only has it become an upholstery project but a clean up project as well. We varnished the wood plank on the back of the boat, as well as any other wood features of the boat. It looks great! We are hoping to also fix the tilt/trim motor that lowers and highers the outboard in/out of the water. That could be costly so we are just going to get a few estimates and go from there.

So here's my test to our blogger site :-) Had to see if I did it right from my phone...

Trevor and Kayla's late and stormy night story

8/9/10
I was sleeping when kay was reading with her lamp on next to her in the bed. I was just barely asleep just thinking and thinking and not realizing I was asleep. To explain what happened next kay later said she had never seen someone move so fast. I was up out of the bed before she stopped screaming. My heart was racing and I was ready for the roof to come down on us. What was worse is I am blind witout my contacts and so I was relying on sounds and feel only. she then said there was a spider in the bed. I started to breath again and half rolled my eyes. we shook out the sheets and overthow and went back to bed. I thought it was cool to have the feeling of being blind and relying on other sensations to drive you other then sight.
well I like to let my imagination run wild on these things and come up with a better store so...this is what I came up with.
it all starts out the same: kay is reading with her lamp on next to her bed and I just barely asleep. Kayla screamed and I jumped out of bed, but instead of a spider there where 2 ninjas with swords. keep in mind I am blind without my contacts I didn't see the one in front of me till I was already up and his sword facing my throat. without thinking of consequences I through my arm at the flat side of the sword and kicked the mans knee out while taking my other hand and smashing it into his face in an upword motion. with all the momentum I must have knocked his socks off cause he was in the air and his sword went flying also. I grabbed it in mid air and sliced down just in time to meet the sword that would have sliced me in half. I then caught the ninja of guard and sliced his torso and arm and then punched him with the blunt end of my sword. I then turned just to find two Chinese stars zinging towards me. I don't know how I did it but I used my sword to smash one out of the air and dodge the other... that so happened to hit the other in the neck. I then threw my sword and it was all a mess after that. kay was all the time stone frozen in the bed with her mouth open. she then ran to me and gave me a hug and a kiss exclaiming lets move to a better neighborhood please. the camera zooms out the window and shows another ninja looking through a scope then runs off and does a front flip with legs straight and his arms and head between his knees as he descends of the house.

FINALLY UPDATABLE!! :)

SO welcome to the blog of Trev and Kay. So we set up a blog about 7 months ago and have only written once. We are really good J Well I thought I would update everyone on how things are going. This one is from Kayla as you guessed from the awesome writing and quick wit sayings…jk.
Well Trev and I are having a great time be married. We do tons of things together and we love to play. We are living in Provo right now and just moved here from Orem where we have been living for the past ten months since we got married. We now live right next door to our good friends Todd and Jewely Parris and it has certainly been awesome! Jewels and I are always keeping the two crazies in tact and if you know Todd and Trevor together you know it is like having two 5 year olds and we try to keep our men in check. But most of the time we just play around with them.
We are both going to school at Utah Valley University. Trev is getting his Bachelor’s in IT with an emphasis on Network and Security. He is working at Good Earth Natural Foods and is there IT manager and they certainly do need him. He is definitely the man to call in almost any situation and he absolutely loves his job.
I feel in a way like I am writing a Christmas card!! ;) lol. Well here is my update. I am working on my pre-requisites for nursing. I will have them all complete by the end of this year and I will either be in a program by Spring 2011 or Fall 2011 just depending on where I get accepted. Well right now I am taking the freaking hardest anatomy class in the US (a slight over exaggeration but not by much hehe). Well I am working at Central Utah Medical Clinic as a Medical Assistant and hope to be here for a long time. I absolutely love it here. Right now it is not really hoppin’ but it will. My doctor quit on feb. 19 even though he just opened up his clinic on jan. 5th. But the nice thing is that the company is still keeping us and we have another provider coming april 12th, so it is all great. I just get a lot of time to study. Lol. But we ARE GREAT!! Happily Married loving my best friend and He is the greatest person in the world!! Well we will actually keep in touch and hope you enjoy the funny antics of Trayla !

Just one happy couple!

Well, in short This is the Trayla blog. Let me just start by saying I love my wife very much. even with the few months we have been together (3 months yesterday!!) I feel like we have been together for much much longer than that. I am so glad to marry my best friend. I feel like we have a strong friendship that has been dosed with love to make a huge amazing flame that will last for eternity. I feel like this blog may just become our way of telling our stories, thoughts, and feelings to anyone that cares. I look forward to writting a lot about our wedding, first house, job status, and many other things.
